WAKEBOARDING IN CROATIA
Wakeboard is water sport, to be precise, water skiing. Competitive wakeboard has three disciplines: clasic water skiing, slalom and leaps.
For wakeboarding you need to have equippment that includes:
- Wakeboard (board) from 125-142 cm long with small fins on both endings. Price of a board is from 200-500 EUR,
- Berths attached to the board. Berths cost from 120-370 EUR,
- Suit costs from 70-300 EUR,
- Jacket helps you with falls and costs from 40-120 EUR.You can also rent wakeboard equipment in wakeboard centers and ski lifts.
Croatia has 4 ski lifts. One is located on island Krk, Porec, Crikvenica and in Novalja on island Pag. Price is mostly around 30 HRK (around 5 EUR) for 4 rounds and around 210 HRK (30 EUR) for a day. In Crikvenica there is a center with Air Nautica with wakeboard tower and 15 minutes of ride cost around 60 HRK (around 9 EUR).
