Dobrinj (Croatia, Kvarner, Island Krk) is one of the oldest settlements on the island of Krk, located in the middle of the island. Dobrinj is center of Dobrinj community. It has many small settlements on the island of Krk such as Čižići, Dobrinj, Gabonjin, Gostinjac, Gornja i Donja Hlapa, Klanice, Klimno, Kras, Meline, Polje, Rasopasno, Rudine, Soline, Sužan, Sv. Ivan, Sv. Vid, Šilo, Tribulje, Žestilac and Županje. It is first time mentioned in 1 100. in deed of donation of "Famous Dragoslav". It was one of the most important centers of the Glagolitic script. In the beginning of the 7th century, Croatians started to inhabit the island of Krk, and there were found remains of graves and money, which testify roman colonies.

Area of Dobrinj is very environmental clean and it has many historical heritage. Above the lower town there is St. Stjepan's church. It had many valuable and art articles, like the picture of the Virgin Mary, made by Paolo Veneziano in 14th century. Today it is kept in rectory of Dobrinj. There are many galleries, which collect many household and livestock articles, tools, souvenires and other items used since immemorial time till today. Those are "Infeld" and "St. Anton" galleries.
