Skradin (Croatia, North Dalmatia) is situated on right side of river Krka on south part of Croatia. It is 19 km far from Sibenik. Skradin has 21 settlements with 3823 inhabitants. In Skradin there are many natural beauties. There is enter to National park Krka, waterfalls of Skradin, Rosk waterfalls, islet Visovac... Skradin's marina is one of the most beautiful in Croatia. You can come to Skradin by water road, trough a canyon of river Krka.
First written monuments in Skradin are dating since 339. year BC, and bishopric was established in 530. Under name Skradin it is known since 10th century. On main square there is Church of Mala Gospa from the 18th century with a bell tower few meters further. You can see St. Peter's Church and St. Jeronimo's Church. Skradin had first hydroelectric in Europe in 1899.
