Economy is based on a tourism, farming, fishing, wine growing, olive growing... Ubli is connested with other places on island Lastovo by a regional road and with Vela Luka (island Korcula) and Split by a ferry.

In Ubli you can visit foundations of an Christian basilica from the 5th and 6th century and a farm houses also built in 5th century.
