Tisno (Croatia, North Dalmatia) is situated 29 km northwest from Sibenik (Croatia), on continental and insular side of Murter canal. Tisno got its name by that tight canal (just few meters width). Tisno is connected with island Murter with a bridge, built in 18th century. It has around 1 500 inhabitants who are mostly directed to agriculture, grape vine, olive, fruit and vegetable breeding. But more and more tourism is growing.

St. Spirit's Church from 1548., which is baroqued in 1640., and expanded in 1840. The tower of the church was built in 1684. The oldest rock of historical heritage is located not far from Tisno, on Ivinj hill. It is St. Martina's Church from 13th century, built on foundation of early Christian basilica.
