Tar (Croatia, Istria) is a small town situated on the west side of Istria. Economy is based on tourism, olive growing, wine growing and farming. Near Tar is Vabriga, also small town. Between Tar and Vabriga is a road Triste-Pula. There is few historical monuments, three parishes, three church towers and three churches; Saint Martin, Saint Anton and Saint Mihovil.
Tar is a great place for pleasant vacation, sun is gently sloping, sea is on the south-west side, river Mirna is on the north and wonderful lookout; city of Poreč is on the south and city of Novigrad is on the north.
During a clear day (visibility is the best when north wind "Bura" blows), you can se Alps and even Saint Marco church tower in Venice, on the opposite side of the Adriatic sea. Inhabitants of Tar often drives their tractors and sailing boats because it is they greatest love, land and sea, farming and fishing.
